how choreograph embraces equity, this year and beyond
Today is International Women’s Day. It is not only a celebration of the social, economic, and cultural accomplishments of women worldwide, but a day to recognize the continued fight for women’s equality on a global scale. It’s a day to call for action to advance gender parity, to challenge and dispel harmful gender stereotypes, and to embrace inclusion.

Here at Choreograph, we proudly embody the principles of International Women’s Day. Collaborating with WPP and GroupM, we will deliver a series of activities throughout March to celebrate women and women’s history. From panel discussions to coaching opportunities and sessions on allyship, we’re committed to elevating all who identify as female to create an opportunity to learn, progress, support and advocate for each other.
In celebration of this year’s International Women’s Day theme, we’ve asked our colleagues to share their thoughts on how they feel we can all #EmbraceEquity.
senior director, product training & enablement
As a mum of twins, I have experienced firsthand the importance of educating men to become allies. Let's remove bias and ensure equal opportunities for women to advance in their careers. Empower women to become the role models we need to inspire and mentor the future generation of women in tech.
manager, product training & enablement
Being African American, I know the importance of having allies in the workplace. The advancement of women in the tech space as a male ally requires persistent education on the challenges that women face, advocating for the women in your workspaces, and openly supporting diversity initiatives to influence change.
As part of the DEI Champions at Choreograph, I will do my part to help cultivate an equitable workplace culture by advocating for and amplifying development opportunities for women.
manager, strategic partnerships
Let’s unite to amplify each other's ideas and achievements so they don’t go unnoticed.
vp, growth operations
I can embrace equity for the advancement of women in tech by ensuring that our team's hiring process is inclusive and designed to attract a diverse pool of candidates, including women of all backgrounds and experiences. Ultimately with the goal of encouraging women to pursue leadership roles and advocating for women to be included in high-level projects and pitches.
director, product management
Be mindful of the unconscious bias towards women. Become an ally to empower women with skills, resources, opportunities, and support.
You can embrace the equity for the advancement of women in tech by speaking up and voicing the injustices. By saying nothing, it is showing that you don’t support the embrace of equity. Let’s support the women in our lives, and uplift those around us. We are the change!
global data governance director
By being a sponsor for women in IT, I help to advance their career within and outside the Group.
director, product marketing
We should keep reminding ourselves, no matter what gender, to provide a uniform playing field when it comes down to equality of opportunity. So whatever career we dream of, we should never let anyone's competing opinion become our reality.
director, learning and effectiveness
Let’s embrace equity together by lifting each other up, noticing the small stuff and choosing a positive mindset.
Some of my most impactful mentors throughout my career have been women and they provided me with the blueprint on how to be successful in the workplace. Being an ally is just the first step in paying it forward for their leadership and support. We can embrace equity for women by challenging long-held assumptions and biases, showing a willingness to address and take action against gender inequalities, and listening to, supporting and respecting women in all facets in our lives.
